Intro:
This is a Barbados rum, sourced from Foursquare by Blackadder. It is 12 years old and bottled at cask strength. Lets dive in.

Nose:
Rick honey, toffee, oak, pepper. Tobacco, esters and nice funk. Overripe fruits, heather, cocoa, big brown sugar. Really rich, and full, nose.

Taste:
Thick and rich and, for the proof, the heat is hiding. Toffee, honey, brown sugar bomb. Caramel, really rich fruits here. Not so much rotting, but the funk is there. Fruits are very reminiscent of pineapple, banana, fig and some plum. Overall, though the brown sugar is dominant.

Finish:
Long, some heat but still very well behaved. Super rich, with more molasses, banana and tobacco permeating through the finish.

Overall:
Damn. Really nice. Its nice to see more fruits in a Barbados and it really pays off. Incredible all around.
