Excerpt: The Plantation 3 Stars Silver Rum is an excellent cocktail rum. It has a smooth complex candied flavour profile which is both interesting and delicious.
Excerpt: It’s an easy and reasonably tasty alcoholic shot to pour into whatever mix one had one hand, and can be sipped, I suppose, though it’s a bit too sharp for that, IMHO.
Excerpt: When mixed the rum doesn’t blow me away. It still tastes, even when with cola young, rough and slightly harsh. It lacks the upfront sweetness of Bacardi Superior and I really don’t think it offers anything noticeably better.
Excerpt: Overall, pretty nice. This works great in a lot of cocktails and I honestly wouldn't think twice about drinking some neat, or over a cube. I bet this with some soda water and a slice of lime may be nice in the summer.

House Review
Intro:
This is a blend of rums distilled in Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad. Blended by the Cognac Ferrand master blender, this rum comes with some high accolades - according to Plantation. Let's see how it is.
Nice mouth feel. Honey, coconut essence, lightly lactic and loaded with caramel. Lightly funky, but its very restrained.
Finish:
Short, but lots of flavor. Mild in the ethanol department, lots of coconut cream, lemon, mango, pencil shavings and honey.
Overall:
