Excerpt: Again, at 94 proof, it needs a bit of water if you’re sipping it straight, and it works just fine with your standard mixers — though last night I was bemoaning the fact that no good recipes exist using spiced rum. The price is also right.
Excerpt: Overall despite the slick presentation and clever marketing you get the feeling you aren’t getting a great rum for your money. Whilst overall its quite easy going and easy to drink, it doesn’t really do much for me personally.
Excerpt: Definitely dosed and colored and sweetened but far from the worst offender I have seen. This isn't half bad, but I don't know if I'd drink more than a little at a time.
